You know, I find myself very glad I'm unable to attend Anime Boston this year like I usually do. I was already planning on not going because I'm due to have a baby like...the day we get back. Yeah, that would be fun. /sarcasm But then there's this latest issue that's cropped up.

My computer died last week. We're pretty sure it was the motherboard or processor, and replaced those. Replacements arrived yesterday, and I got them installed (cutting a finger in the process, dangit), and I attempted to get things set up again today. Only to find out that there appears to be a second issue dealing more specifically with the new motherboard. Likely it's just a faulty part and getting a replacement from the company will take care of it. ::crosses fingers:: Here's hoping.

Meanwhile, this means I've had to coopt my husband's laptop to do anything internet-related, including looking up references for doing fans. I've also been unable to do any proper digital artwork on my computer, and am currently unable to access all my stored art on there. :: pulls at hair:: Luckily, since I'm not attending AB09, I don't have to worry about prepping art for it.

I am attending ConnectiCon in Hartford, CT, the last weekend of July (7-31 through 8-2 or something like that). My friend and I will have a table in the Artists' Colony (ConnectiCon's version of the Artists' Alley), where I will hopefully have a fair number of fans to sell in addition to some other art of mine. My table partner, Anki , will also be selling more of her pretty jewelry. Stop by and check our table out!
